FIRE 2025

We are glad to announce the availability of a limited number of student travel grants. All the students presenting a paper, participating in any of the tracks FIRE 2025 are eligible to apply. Participants are eligible to get a travel grant equivalent to the actual cost of travel upto a maximum of 5000 INR. The grant is valid for travel in 3AC/Sleeper categories of Indian Railways. For participants traveling trough other modes (bus, flights, etc) the reimbursement amount shall be equal to the actual cost of travel or equivalent train journey (whichever is lesser).

The deadline for application is 6th December. Applicants shall be notified about the decision by 10th December. Priority will be given to participants who have already registered for FIRE 2025. The decision made by FIRE 2025 organizing committee will be final and may not be further appealed. We are grateful to the ACM SIGIR Friends program for their support without which these grants would not have been possible. The recipients of this travel grant are required to explicitly acknowledge ACM SIGIR in their presentations.
